Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) – SEN School (Primary & Secondary)
Location: Basingstoke
Hours: Full-time
Pay: £13.75 per hour
We are delighted to be recruiting Learning Support Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive specialist SEN school, working with both primary and secondary-aged pupils. This role is ideal for individuals from a variety of professional and personal backgrounds who are looking to build a meaningful career supporting children and young people with additional needs.

The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils feel safe, supported and confident in their learning. Working closely with teachers and specialist staff, you will support pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, adapting your approach to meet individual needs.
Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting pupils across primary and secondary age ranges

Assisting with personalised and differentiated learning activities
-
Supporting communication, sensory needs and emotional regulation

Encouraging independence, engagement and positive behaviour

Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff

Helping to maintain a calm, inclusive and supportive learning environment
About You

Have experience in education, care, support work, youth work, health or similar roles (helpful but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
