Job description

Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Southampton & Surrounding Areas 

Location: Central Southampton, Sholing and The New Forest
Start Date: Immediate start available (pending vetting checks)
Contract: Full-time (long-term and supply opportunities available)
Hours: 8:30 or 9:00 AM start, finishing between 3:00 and 4:30 PM

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in care, medical or youth work

  • A genuine passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

  • Reliable, flexible and enthusiastic individuals who are ready to start as soon as possible

  • Ideally a driver, or willing to travel using public transport

  • Must be seeking full-time work

Requirements:

  • An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

  • Ability to provide two years of work-based references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
