Job description

General Supply Learning Support Assistant
Southampton | £13.75 per hour | Weekly pay

We are looking for friendly and reliable Learning Support Assistants to work on a general supply basis in schools across Southampton, supporting pupils with additional needs.

This is a flexible role with an immediate start, ideal for anyone available three or more days per week.

About the role:
You will support children with additional needs in the classroom, working one-to-one or in small groups and helping them feel safe, supported, and confident at school.

Who we are looking for:

  • Aged 21 or over

  • Experience working with children or a genuine passion for supporting those with additional needs

  • Available three or more days per week

Backgrounds in care, healthcare, teaching support, youth work, or sports coaching are ideal. Driving is helpful but not essential, as schools are accessible by public transport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
