Do you have experience either paid or personal with children with special needs?

We may have just the position for you!

We are currently recruiting teaching assistants for a special education needs focused school in the Northwest Area. They are looking for bright and ambitious individuals to join their ranks over the coming months and you could be one of them. We are looking for someone with previous experience working with special needs, preferrably in a school setting, or an experienced TA who is hoping to make a transition into special education needs schools.

You will be working with children with a variety of needs including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Global Delay, Downs Syndrome, alongside other complex and profound needs. Comfort with participation in personal care is a must as this is part of the role working in SEN.


You will have opportunities to partake in Art therapy, hydrotherapy, developing communication tools for children with speech and language therapy and building a safe and nurturing environment for the students in your care.


- Have experience with children with SEN whether paid or personal

- Be highly organised and reliable

-Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
