An fantastic SEN school in Cardiff are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated and supportive team to work within their specialist provision. The child needs a passionate and enthusiastic teaching assistant to assist with general school life and help to stay on task to achieve the best learning outcome.

The Ideal candidate will:

  • Have a background in psychology, sports coaching, youth work, SEN, Residential Support
  • Have the ability to use their initiative in challenging situations
  • Be open to further training including Manual Handling, Team Teach & Autism Awareness.
  • "think outside the box" when it comes to supporting children & young people with additional learning needs.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be a bright individual who can develop relationships with staff and pupils that ensure you can make the most of your placement.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your role will involve you working throughout the school. Day-to-day, you will be listening to the advice of a SENCO who will lead your development and work hard to help you progress
