Special Educational Needs Design and Technology Secondary Teacher required for SEN School - Peterborough

We are looking for a SEN Secondary Teacher for students with SEMH in a specialist secure unit. The school is a specialist secure unit providing education and care to female students with social, emotional and mental health issues.
The school is supportive and offers on going support and training in a unique and rewarding environment.
About the Role
- Design and Technology Teacher
- Planning and Teaching Design and Technology lessons
- Class sizes are small and include specialist support
- School offers ongoing internal training
- Uphold all safeguarding procedures and behaviour policies
Key Skills
- QTS or extensive teaching experience
- Successful class room teaching experience
- Have previous experience working within a SEN environment or have always wanted to
- Experience of working with pupils with SEMH
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils Design and Technology
- Ability to teach resistant materials
- Certificates to use appropriate machinery or hand tools
