We are looking for a SEN Secondary Teacher for students with SEMH in a specialist secure unit. The school is a specialist secure unit providing education and care to female students with social, emotional and mental health issues.

The school is supportive and offers on going support and training in a unique and rewarding environment.

  • Design and Technology Teacher
  • Planning and Teaching Design and Technology lessons
  • Class sizes are small and include specialist support
  • School offers ongoing internal training
  • Uphold all safeguarding procedures and behaviour policies

Key Skills

  • QTS or extensive teaching experience
  • Successful class room teaching experience
  • Have previous experience working within a SEN environment or have always wanted to
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEMH
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils Design and Technology
  • Ability to teach resistant materials
  • Certificates to use appropriate machinery or hand tools
