Full time Citizenship teacher required from May for temporary cover need.

Our client school situated on the border of Oldham and Manchester are looking for a qualified and experienced Citizenship teacher to join them for an initial cover post, teaching across the age and ability range (11-16) for the duration of the academic year.

- Large and well facilitated secondary school with outstanding provisions for learning

- Temporary supply post for the final term (May start date)

- Citizenship teacher, open to all levels of experience including newly qualified teachers

- Supportive Head of Faculty for new starter

As a Citizenship teacher at our client school, you will be required to teach classes across both Key Stage 3 and 4 throughout the post, assuming responsibility for the delivery of schemes of work. The post is open to all levels of experience, including those who have newly qualified as a teacher of Citizenship. The successful applicant will be supported directly by the Social Sciences department and can benefit from the weekly CPD and training on offer to all staff in the school.

This is a large, mixed comprehensive situated East of Manchester, bordering the Oldham LEA, which benefits from excellent public transport links and the nearby M60 motorway. The school has secure on site parking for staff.
