Position: Social Science Teacher
Location: Northampton
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Social Science teachers in and around Northampton to join our team of excellent Teachers ready for the new academic year, providing extensive support to the local schools.
We are seeking to appoint versatile and highly effective teachers who can bring their love for their subject into the classroom through innovation and energy. You will be organised, dynamic and hardworking combined with having excellent subject knowledge, a desire to positively impact students’ learning and achieve highly. Above all you will be dedicated to giving all our students the best that you can be.
Responsibilities
- Deliver (and sometimes plan) high-quality lessons that align with the curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum for an overall improved education experience
Requirements
- QTS or equivalent qualifications is desired but not necessary
- Qualifications in Social Science subjects including Psychology, Sociology, Crimonology, or Health and Social care
- Minimum 2 years’ Experience Teaching Secondary Students
- Strong classroom management skills
- Enhanced Child only DBS certificate
- Be able to use ICT in all aspects of your work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
