SLD TEACHER
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
We are recruiting for a SLD Teacher to teach Year 13/14 pupils at a specialist school in St Albans. The school is an all through SEN school that caters for children aged 2 - 19 with SLD, PMLD and ASC. This position is 5 days a week to start in January with the strong possibility of going permanent.
The school is Ofsted Rated Good and have been praised for many of their attributes. The following is a quote taken from their most recent OFSTED report; "The school's ethos and vision promote pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development well. These aspects are effectively developed through the curriculum. Staff know pupils well and have high expectations of them."
The school has excellent facilities to help create a learning environment that helps assist pupils in their development despite their often complex and varied needs.
We have received consistently strong feedback from staff that we have placed in this school. They are often impressed by the care and attention that is provided to the pupils and the support they receive from other colleagues and the senior leadership team.
As always we will offer a competitive rate and continuous support from both Teaching Personnel and the school.
