Key Responsibilities:
*Lead the establishment and development of the new school, setting strategic directions and ensuring the highest standards of education and care.
*Cultivate a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
*Oversee the recruitment, development, and management of staff, promoting continuous professional growth and a collaborative team ethos.
*Foster strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the wider community to enhance students’ learning experiences and outcomes.
*Manage resources efficiently and effectively, ensuring the sustainability and growth of the school.
*Drive the implementation of innovative teaching and learning strategies tailored to meet the diverse needs of SEN students.
*Ensure compliance with all regulatory, statutory, and inspection requirements.
Requirements for the Role:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with an advanced degree in education or a related field preferred.
*Extensive experience in special education, with a proven track record of successful leadership in an SEN setting.
*Deep understanding of the latest educational developments, especially those pertaining to SEN, and the ability to translate these into effective practice.
*Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
*A commitment to inclusive education and the promotion of positive outcomes for SEN pupils.
*Strategic thinking and planning abilities, with the foresight to anticipate challenges and drive the school forward.
*Resilience, flexibility, and the capacity to lead through change and growth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
