We are thrilled to announce the opening of a new all-through Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Derby, scheduled to open in September 2024.
As part of a highly respected and growing network of SEN schools, this new establishment is poised to deliver outstanding educational experiences to children with special needs.
To support this mission, they are in search of an experienced and dynamic School Business Manager to join their team.
Role: School Business Manager
Location: Derby
Start Date: September 2024
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, Year-round
Salary: £37,000 - £40,000, depending on experience
Skills and Qualifications Required:
*A Management or Professional qualification relevant to the role, such as a Management Diploma or Finance qualification, is desirable.
*In-depth knowledge of relevant educational regulations and standards.
*Understanding of current inspection frameworks utilized by regulatory and statutory bodies.
*Familiarity with safeguarding and legislative procedures applicable to working with children and young people.
*Proficiency in managing EBITDA, financial systems, processes, and budget preparation.
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a variety of stakeholders.
*Ability to form and promote positive relationships among students, staff, parents, and external agencies.
*Commitment to setting and achieving high, appropriate, and attainable standards.
*Proven team leadership and management capabilities.
*Skilled in accurate situation assessment, effective problem resolution, and decision-making.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
