SEN Youth Worker required in the New Forest

Job description

Youth worker required to start in September 2018 at specialist SEN provision in the New Forest. This school caters for both primary and secondary aged pupils with varying needs, all of whom have statemented with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP).

Individuals attending the school have a varied scope of Special Educational Needs, which may include: Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Speech, Language and Physical Disabilities.

About the role:

  • Manage and organise pupils
  • Work on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Pay rate - £54.00 - £65.00 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
  • Hours - 8.30am - 3.30pm

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
