SEN Teaching Assistants / Support Assistants required for a specialised Autism ASD / ASC School in Norwich, Norfolk

Full-time or part-time positions available, however you must be available to work one full day between the hours 08:30 - 15:30. This is either an immediate or September 2017 start.

Due to the location of this School you will require transport.

Additional training provided in SEN including Team Teach and an induction

I have been asked to recruit specialised ASD / ASC experienced Teaching Assistants / Support Assistants for a specialised provision for pupils with Autism Spectrum Conditions ASD / ASC. This is a Primary and Secondary age provision and provides a very varied level of education from low P scales to pupils taking their GCSE's. Pupils have extremely mixed abilities and classes are dependent on these and their needs. Classes are a minimum of 3 pupils to a maximum of 6 pupils with 1:1 support. Pupils' needs range from non-verbal to high-functioning. This provision is looking for Teaching Assistants and Support Assistants that have an excellent understanding and experience of supporting pupils on the Autistic Spectrum.

Due to the location of this School, you will need transport.

There has been an excellent restructure within this provision and they have recently appointed a new Head Teacher (previously the Deputy Head) and a SENCo.

For this position, you will need to have GCSE grades A-C in Maths and English or equivalent.
