Teaching Personnel are recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within an SEN school in Plymouth. The role is to start from September 2018 and will be long term until the end of the academic year. It is to work 1:1 with a child with SEN and in particular, behavioural difficulties.
Our school caters for secondary aged pupils with behavioural and learning difficulties and who are not in mainstream education.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience of working with pupils with SEBD, PMLD, ASC or other SEND experience.
- Have a full driving licence with access to a car.
- Has supported or written IEPs or other support plans.
- Will be able to communicate effectively with parents, carers and other multi-agency partners.
- Will have experience working with pupils in KS3 or KS4.
