SEN Teaching Assistant Roles Available in Ebbw Vale

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants with experience in SEN to work with a client school based in Ebbw Vale. The pupils you will be supporting will have learning difficulties and or challenging behaviour. You will be expected to work between 8:30-3:30. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and show great behaviour management skills. You will be asked to work either within small groups or on a one to one basis. The students within the school may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy and or challenging behaviour. Candidates will be expected to engage the pupils and keep them on task to meet their learning aims and objectives. Supporting daily trips to the shop or park may also be required. Team Teach trained candidates would be advantageous for the role. We offer a competitive rate of pay ranging from £50.44-£60.00 a day, along with other additional benefits. There are temporary and permanent roles available for the right candidates. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
