SEN Teaching Assistant - Leicestershire

A primary school located in central South Leicestershire is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to join their support team in varying pastoral roles from September. The school has a number of SEN Teaching Assistant Vacancies, starting in September. There are opportunities for both full and part time SEN Teaching Assistant position's, starting from September.

Main Points of SEN Teaching Assistant Position:

  • Pay rate £275 -325 per week depending on experience
  • Good Ofsted graded school

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils across the year groups. You will be working with pupils in a pastoral role, supporting them academically and on a personal/ emotional level. Applications encouraged from individuals who have experience working with; Autism, EBD, SEMH and learning difficulties.

The Good Ofsted graded school is looking to recruit a number of support staff, working in various roles within the SEN department, starting in September. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be able to build rapport with pupils across the age groups within a primary school. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive SEN department who look to mentor and develop SEN Teaching Assistant.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
