SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs?

Teaching Personnel are working with a school in the Bournemouth area, catering for children between the ages of 5 - 19 with moderate, complex and severe learning difficulties. The school also has an excellent provision for learners who are on the Autistic Spectrum.

We are looking to recruit an open minded, hard working and passionate Teaching Assistant to support across the school. We have both full time, part time and ad-hoc/supply positions available.

The positions are term time only. You must be able to demonstrate a passion for working in a special school setting and with young children with complex needs. We are committed to staff development so will help you to develop your skills and expertise.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
