Job description

We are currently looking for passionate Team Teach qualified Teaching Assistants who are available full time in September. The role is to support KS2 pupil at a large SEN school that caters for EYS- Post 16, with:


Social Emotional Mental Health Needs


Speech Language Needs

Physical Disabilities

Sensory Needs (Visual and Hearing)

The ideal candidate will hold a Team Teach qualification and have experience working in either a mainstream or SEN environment with children with a variety of Special Needs and have experience working in small groups or on a one-to-one basis. The successful candidate will be inspiring, positive, and committed to helping the children.


  • Supporting students with special needs across the years
  • Supporting a wide spectrum of SEN; Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, Cerebral palsy and EBD.
  • Constructing 1:1 work with students in Numeracy and Literacy
  • Devising action plans to manage the behaviour of the students
  • Assist in the educational and social development of students
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes for students
  • Monitor and support the students
  • Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
  • Support students with emotional and behavioural problems and help develop their social skills

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
