Experienced Teaching Assistants Required in Maidenhead

At Teaching Personnel we work in partnership with a school in the Maidenhead area. We are currently supporting in their search for staff to join an ever-growing team. The school caters for primary and secondary pupils with Autism. Some of these pupils may have additional needs related to Autism including anxiety, difficulties regulating emotions, sensory needs and speech language communication needs.

The school are looking for staff full time and who are experienced working with children or adults with Autism. This can be from a background as a:

Teaching Assistant (SEN or Mainstream)

Care Assistant

Family Support Worker

Residential Support Worker

Behaviour Mentor

ABA Tutoring

Community Nurse

Outreach Worker

Community Support Work

Health Care Assistant

Nursery Practitioner

The school offers an in depth training programme that will help support you to transfer your skills and knowledge of Autism but in a school setting. You will learn from a dedicated supervisor who is highly experienced in the field. The role involves working 1:1 with pupils delivery interventions that are specifically designed for each pupil depending on their needs. As a Teaching Assistant you will track progress and regularly report these findings to professional including the Speech Language Therapist and Occupational Therapist.
