Job description

Teaching Personnel Exeter are pleased to be working in sole partnership with a specialist SEN school in North Devon.

Our client is dedicated to delivering specialist education services to children and young adults with a wide range of behavioural and learning difficulties.

The role is to work in the school and may be working 1:1 or small group work.

The ideal candidate:

  • Will have an understanding of children with special educational needs (SEN) either professionally or in the home environment.
  • Will be experienced in managing difficult behaviour.
  • Be enthusiastic and willing to be 'hands on' in and out of the classroom.
  • Will have a clean, full driving licence and access to a car to use daily.

What we can offer you:

  • An opportunity for a rewarding yet challenging position in a referral unit in North Devon.
  • Opportunities for continual professional development (CPD).
  • A personal, friendly consultant in Exeter to help you through our application process.
  • Competitive pay - £50 - £60 per day.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist SEN school. It is also a chance to make a real difference to the lives of their pupils and students, many of which have previously experienced difficulty in sustained learning within a mainstream provision.
