SEN Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are actively seeking an experienced SEN TA to work at a client primary school in the Moss Side area of Manchester (M14). This larger than average primary school are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 team on a full time basis starting in September. The successful SEN TA will work with identified children across KS2 who have a range of identified needs. To be considered for this role, you will have an adaptable approach to supporting learning and will be dedicated to working as a constant support for the children across KS2. The role will start on the first day back after Summer (02/09/2019) and will run up until the end of the academic year. The school are looking to appoint for this role permanently so a longer term placement may be possible for the right person.

This SEN TA role is to work in a 'GOOD' primary school in the heart of Manchester. The school boasts a well resourced SEN provision which accommodates children from the EYFS up to KS2. The successful applicant will support the KS2 children in the provision during part of the day and also in the classroom where necessary. The school are looking for a teaching assistant with the capabilities to work as a strong role model who will inspire the children's learning and help them to integrate fully in all aspects f schools life.

  • Have previous experience supporting children with specific SEN
  • Will have recent and relevant primary school experience
  • Be a positive role model with a positive and professional attitude
