A Primary and Nursery school in Leeds (LS10) is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant. This Primary school promotes resilience, tolerance and independence and its staff are committed to delivering a positive and high-quality educational experience to all pupils.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the class teacher in the delivery of an engaging and differentiated curriculum.
• Supporting pupils via 1:1 sessions.
• Assisting pupils with catch-up work by leading support sessions.
• Working to the school’s values in creating equal access for all pupils.
• Abiding by the school’s behaviour management policies.

Applicants must:

• Have at least 1 years’ experience in working with SEN pupils.
• Understand the importance of assessing student needs and of differentiating the curriculum accordingly.
• Be committed to creating a happy and stimulating learning environment.
• Have a fully enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one).
• Be able to provide two references.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
