The specific role of a SEN teaching assistant will be to support specific students who have been identified from their educational health care plans with the special educational needs department putting provisions in place to provide the support required to enhance the student’s learning experience. Any experience supporting students on a 1:1 basis who might have moderate learning difficulties, autism, ADHD, dyslexia or social emotional behaviour support will be highly desirable.

This secondary school is situated in the Trafford area making it very easy to access from the nearby areas of Stretford, Altrincham, Chorlton, Sale and Didsbury in Manchester. This mixed secondary school has fantastic facilities and a large on site SEN provision. The school is located near to the local Metrolink station and is regularly serviced by buses and public transport. The M60 and M56 also service the school well.
