Teaching Assistants & Teachers - Specialist Schools (Totton & Dibden Area)
Pay: From £14.20 per hour
Hours: Full-time positions available
Employer: Teaching Personnel - Temp to Perm options

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting full-time Teaching Assistants and Teachers to work across a range of specialist schools in the Totton and Dibden area. These provisions support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) and SEN (Special Educational Needs).

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in rewarding environments where you can make a real difference to young people who require additional support to succeed in their education.

The Role

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups

  • Assisting with learning activities tailored to individual needs

  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation

  • Helping create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment

  • Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people is essential

  • Backgrounds in education, support work, care work, or youth work are highly desirable

  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs

  • Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
