Drama Teacher
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Start Date: 13th April 2026
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Supply
Salary: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a secondary school in the Corby area of Northamptonshire to recruit a full-time Drama Teacher for a long-term supply position starting 13th April 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and creative individual to join a supportive school environment and inspire students through engaging and expressive Drama lessons.

The Role

The successful candidate will deliver Drama lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop confidence, creativity, and performance skills.

This is a full teaching role, meaning the successful candidate will be responsible for full planning, preparation, marking, and assessment, as well as contributing positively to the wider performing arts provision within the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan and prepare lessons in line with the school curriculum

  • Mark and assess student work and monitor progress

  • Encourage creativity, collaboration, and confidence through performance and practical learning

  • Contribute to the wider Performing Arts department and school community

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) desirable but not essential

  • Candidates with relevant Drama or performing arts experience are encouraged to apply

  • Passion for inspiring students through drama and performance

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Ability to commit to a full-time long-term role including planning and marking
