English Teacher (QTS Qualified) – Northampton | Immediate Start

Are you an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher looking for your next role? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a QTS-qualified English Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Northampton, with an immediate start available.

This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire a love of literature and language while helping students achieve their full potential across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with opportunities to teach KS5).

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and creative English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

  • Plan and prepare high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum

  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school staff

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

  • Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting

  • Strong subject knowledge in both Language and Literature

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
