Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Autism Specialist Support Assistant to work permanently in one of our Islington school's. The school is located in a lovely community and has easy transport links. It is a large and vibrant school with a broad and creative curriculum. They are committed to their pupils with special educational needs in ensuring they get the necessary support to reach their full potential. The successful person would have experience working as a special needs learning support assistant and have had exposure to primary children on the ASD spectrum.

Role Requirements

  • Experience with autism(ASD)
  • Experience working with primary aged students

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
