SEN Teaching Assistant – Stretford (M16)

Teaching Personnel are offering an opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a devoted SEN Secondary School in Trafford. Part of a successful diocese trust, this school is committed to providing a nurturing, inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs.

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN in academic and social settings.
  • Assist in planning and delivering Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and behaviour support strategies.
  • Support students in developing emotional regulation, social interaction and independence skills.
  • Monitor and track student progress, offering regular feedback to the teaching team and parents/guardians.

Requirements:

  • Experience with ASC and MLD students.
  • Full-time availability, Mon to Fri.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • Registration with Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
