- Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant required for large Salford based secondary school.
- Starting from September 2020, initially for one academic year but may be extended further.
- Supporting pupils in the SEN provision in small groups (Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD).
- Working alongside the SENDCo and pastoral team to ensure all pupils receive an inclusive and supportive education.
- Earning GBP1200 - GBP1300 a month dependent on previous experience.
- Modern, mainstream secondary school in Salford, close to Farnworth & Worsley and accessible from the A580 (East Lancashire Road).
The incoming SEN Teaching Assistant will join a well established team of teachers at a small yet vibrant secondary school. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing tailored support to young people aged 11 to 16 with a range of mild to moderate learning needs ahead of the summer examinations. As a result, the successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be of a patient nature, confident, good with behaviour and adaptable with their approach to learning to meet the needs of pupils. The school is regularly commended for its high level of support for both staff and pupils.
Situated in Salford, the school can easily be reached either via the M602 Motorway, or via the !580 (East Lancashire Road). For non-drivers, there are a number of reliable public transport links that lead to the school from Bury, Bolton and central Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
