Teaching Personnel are urgently seeking a Teaching Assistant in a School located between Truro and Redruth; with experience of working with special educational needs and disabilities.
THE ROLE: This SEN Teaching Assistant role requires a compassionate candidate with a genuine interest in working with special needs children. Ideally you will have experience working 1:1 with children with SEND. You will be working with a Reception student aged 4 years old. The pupil has mild social and emotional difficulties and needs additional support with his day-to-day activities. This is a long term and full time role to begin ASAP and running through to the end of the Academic Year. There is potential for the right candidate to secure a permanent position.
THE SCHOOL: The school is located between Truro and Redruth. A driving licence and access to a vehicle is mandatory due to the location of the school and poor transport links. This school has a reputation for being a great work place with experienced teachers offering outstanding support. The role will be ideal for someone who is looking to pursue a career in education and additional training will be provided. Teamwork is key to this school's success and there is a large team supported by an inclusive SLT.
TO APPLY: To apply for this particular position, please register your details and one of our dedicated consultants will be in touch to answer any questions and complete your registration.
TEACHING PERSONNEL: We are a nationwide education based recruitment agency with localised offices and dedicated consultants who understand the complex nature of education recruitment. We meet with all of our candidates in person as finding the right fit for both candidate and school is a key focus. For more information, please contact the Cornwall Primary office on 01872 250 123.
