SEN Teaching Assistant Needed - Okehampotn, Devon 

Location: Okehampton, Devon

Salary: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour

Contract: Full-time, ASAP start

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a SEN school in Okehampton. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of students with a range of special educational needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable.
  • A patient and empathetic approach, with the ability to build strong rapport with students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the school environment.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Must be a male, due to the needs of child they will be working with.
