Job Opportunity: Behavioural Support Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Behavioural needs? An Alternative Provision is seeking a dedicated Behavioural Support Assistant to provide one-to-one guidance to students. You'll work within a respectful and inclusive environment, collaborating closely with teachers and parents to ensure the holistic development of each learner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the emotional, social, and behavioural needs of students across various age groups (4-16 years).
  • Assist teachers in the classroom by fostering respectful behavior and aiding students with assigned tasks.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to design individualized curriculums and programs tailored to each student's needs.

Desired Skills for the Role:

  • Background in supporting individuals with Social, Emotional and Behavioural needs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Approachable demeanor with a genuine passion for mentoring and supporting students.
  • Completion of Safeguarding Children training.
  • Certification in TeamTeach training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
