The schools have an emphasis on healthy and positive environments for children to be creative in learning. They create a crucial open platform for children to learn and progress.
The Role:
Based Schools In North Cornwall
Full time Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3:00pm (Term time)
Immediate Start
Support children with learning difficulties, emotional difficulties, academics and well-being
Training provided - safeguarding level 2, team teach, autism awareness

Although previous experience working with Children preferred it is certainly not essential and we would welcome all applicants. Candidates with backgrounds in sports, youth work, care, nursing, coaching, drama and personal experience with children are welcome! Your personality and attitude is a key factor when choosing the successful teaching assistant. A minimum of core GCSE’s is required.
The job of a teaching assistant is a vital role in education it bridges the gap between teacher and student to digest information, motivate and encourage to fulfil their potential. This teaching assistant role consists of working 1:1 and in small groups with children providing a calm and positive atmosphere and working environment. This may include working with children that excibit challenging behaviour or have special educational needs. You will build a rapport with the child in order to gain their attention and help them focus on the work, aiding their learning. The types of special needs you will be supporting are autism, ADHD, hearing and visual impairment, social and emotional and mental health!
You'll be joining a large team of teaching assistants that support school’s needs.
You:
Must have an enhanced DBS (assistance provided)
A minimum of core GCSE's
Provide 2 recent references
