Teaching Personnel work with a Client School based in Acomb, which cater for children aged 4 - 11 year olds and have a range of Special Educational Needs. The School has 19 classes, with each class having between 4 and 8 children, 1 class teacher and up to 4 Teaching Assistants. The school caters for students with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism; both verbal and non-verbal, physical disabilities; including wheelchair bound and those requiring hydrotherapy sessions, behavioural difficulties and severe learning difficulties, with most students working from an individualised EYFS scheme. With this in mind, the school has a high need of temporary staff to cover day to day illness and long term placements.
