SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-time

Teaching Personnel are working alongside many "Good" and "Outstanding" mainstream primary schools within the Ealing borough.

We are actively seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of an excellent Primary School based in Ealing. The school is a large 3 form entry school with a new purpose built building equipped with amazing resources inside and out. The most recent Ofsted inspection graded the school at an Outstanding level.


This role entails supporting the class teacher working with groups and one to one, helping to raise attainment and supporting children that may have additional needs. The school is looking for someone who can work on their own initiative, have good interaction with pupils and helpful in supporting the class teacher. You will be set in a class, supporting children with various needs and abilities. We are looking for someone who is flexible, has a positive attitude and high expectations of children.

You must meet the following criteria:

  • Must have at least 6 months of experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK School
  • Must be proactive
  • Must have a Degree or Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Can create a stimulating and welcoming learning environment
  • Facilitating learning by differentiation instruction
  • Supporting children with various needs and abilities
  • Flexible and reliable
  • Liaising with the classroom teacher and parents to effectively support children
  • Must have great knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
  • Have experience supporting a range of SEN including ASC, ADHD, Global Learning Delay and Speech and Language.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
