Here at Teaching Personnel our Specialist SEN Branch are currently working with a large SEN school throughout Cardiff. Our client school are looking for an outstanding SEN Teaching Assistant to join them on a long term, full time basis working 5 days per week. On occasions the opportunity for part time work also arises based on the the successful candidate. This is an ideal way to find work that can be tailored towards your desired role.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* A calm personality
* A passion for working with pupils who require additional needs
* Classroom experience within the last year
* The ability to use their iniaitive in situations that others may find challenging.
* Have "can-do" attitude in regards to all aspects of schooling.
* Be willing to tend to personal care.
The School is Specialised SEN school who cater for children between 3-19years old with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Speech and Language difficulties, and also those with Social and Emotional Behavioural Disorders (SEBD). Working and supporting these pupils needs a certain type of person. If you are very compassionate who is willing work well together with excellent communication skills within a specialist provision - then this could well be the right role for you.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
