SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT CARDIFF

Do you have any experience working with Special Education Needs Pupils?

A partner Cardiff Secondary School have asked us here at Teaching Personnel to aid with their recruitment for a Special Education Needs teaching assistant. This role can be slightly varied but will mainly consist of working either with small groups on a one to one basis supporting pupils that need extra help with their education and also social interaction.

Desirable Qualities

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work to a schedule and prioritise tasks in a very fast paced environment
  • Ability to engage with pupils and understand individual needs
  • Effective Communication coupled with Excellent Listening Skills
  • Capability to build working relationships and partner with families, SEN Departments and other relevant Departments
  • Ability to work with diversity and give commitment to the pupils education
