Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant


 

Our Specialist SEN Branch here at Teaching Personnel are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work in education establishments across Caerphilly. This is a fantastic opportunity for psychology graduates and experienced individuals who are passionate about working with SEN children. Alternatively, if you have a passion for SEN or support someone who has additional learning needs in a personal capacity then we are looking for you.

  • Salary: GBP57 - GBP65 per day
  • Location: Caerphilly

We have links with a number of SEN Schools and units across Caerphilly who have requirements for both short term and long term cover. This is a great opportunity for Teaching Assistants who are looking to further their professional skills and development. We can offer you knowledge and experience in a wide range of SEN settings, which will enable you to further develop and enhance your career goals.

The ideal candidate will have to be approachable, reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the schools. In addition to this you will need to have some knowledge and understanding of Special Educational Needs as you will be working with pupils who have a range of learning difficulties ranging from mild to severe. You will need to have a strong work ethic as you will be undertaking a wide range of responsibilities within the classroom, taking direction from the classroom teacher and Learning Support Team Leaders. You will also have experience of working with SEN pupils within an educational setting, and have the ability to build strong rapport with challenging pupils.
