Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Blackburn based School which specifically caters for KS3/4 pupils with special educational needs. The School is smaller than average and caters specifically for pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH Difficulties, Learning Difficulties and Physical Disabilities and pupils with challenging behaviours. The School are looking for a hard working, enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant who is looking for a long term role supporting pupils with SEN.

The School are hoping to appoint a full time, long term Teaching Assistant to support KS3/4 pupils with additional needs. Your basic job role will be to support the Teacher in managing behaviour and delivering lessons to the pupils. You will also be expected to work with children on a 1:1 basis, assisting them with their work and emotional needs. In some cases, personal care may be required.

The candidate must be; hard working, passionate, empathetic, resilient and have some experience working with children or adults with special educational needs.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £57 - 67 per day

- Long term position available
