About the Role:
The opportunities working as a SEN Teaching Assistant are endless! This is a full time role, working with SEN pupils five days a week based in Barnet. You will have multiple occasions to have a significant impact on children's improvement that have: Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Visual and Hearing Impairment (VI, HI), Down syndrome (DS) and Global Learning Delay (GLD) to name but a few. The school is looking for the right candidate to really make an impact on their vulnerable pupils as they aim to more than adequately prepare pupils for high school.

In addition to this the school instils confidence and courageousness to pupils which is aided by excellent lesson planning and engaged student participation delivered by highly trained staff. The curriculum is based on the ethos that learning should be broad and balanced so that all learning abilities are approached with sensitivity and the time and preparation that they deserve. On a regular basis the school provides extra curricular activities for pupils to participate in such as: swimming lessons, horse riding lessons and music therapy.
About the candidate:
SEN Teaching Assistants who are looking for a career change or a new opportunity:

- Have a degree or Teaching Assistant Qualification
- Open to delivering bespoke interventions
