SEN Teacher Positions – North West London

Teaching Personnel is working with two secondary special needs schools for children with moderate learning difficulties in the Kingsbury area, who are beginning their recruitment for teaching staff for the academic year 2019/2020.

Both schools look for subject specific trained teachers who can deliver the national curriculum for either maths or English up to GCSE. Many students at both schools can access the national curriculum and achieve their GCSE grades, however some of the lower ability students may follow the ASDAN specifications instead.

The details:

• Both schools cater for children with autism and other moderate learning difficulties including speech and language difficulties
• Both schools have small size classes of mixed key stage ability – up to a maximum of 6 in one school and a maximum of 10 in the other school
• Classes include at least one teaching assistant at all times
• Both schools will give you a timetable including PPA time
• Both schools have a car park and easy access public transport links
• Both schools can offer a permanent contract from January 2021 if you have been successful whilst working through Teaching Personnel September-December
• Pay rates through Teaching Personnel begin from GBP120 - GBP150 per day with the potential to increase further
• Both schools are based in Kingsbury
