Job description

Learning Support Assistant Seeking Full-Time Role – Next Term

A motivated and adaptable Learning Support Assistant is seeking a full-time position for the coming term, ideally within a supportive and inclusive school environment.

With previous experience working in a mainstream school setting, this educator is confident in providing in-class support while also delivering targeted intervention sessions to individuals and small groups. They bring a calm, consistent approach and are particularly keen to work with pupils who present SEMH needs, understanding the importance of relationship-building, structure and clear expectations.

This Learning Support Assistant offers:

  • Experience supporting pupils across a range of abilities within the classroom

  • Confidence in running intervention groups to boost confidence, engagement and progress

  • A positive and patient approach when supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs

  • Strong teamwork skills, working closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff

Professional, approachable and proactive, they are quick to adapt to school routines and are committed to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning while celebrating every success.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
