Salary: £150 – £250 per day (based on experience and qualifications)
About the Role:
A well-regarded specialist provision in Hammersmith is seeking a dedicated and adaptable SEND Teacher to join its team on a permanent basis. The school supports children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including autism spectrum conditions, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a nurturing, well-resourced environment with small class sizes, high staff-to-pupil ratios, and a strong therapeutic ethos. The successful candidate will play a vital role in planning and delivering personalized learning experiences that support each pupil’s academic progress, independence, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons for learners with a range of SEN needs
- Plan and implement differentiated lessons that support a wide range of developmental and educational goals
- Establish positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues to support learning and well-being
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to whole-school development and pupil outcomes
- Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in SEN settings or with pupils with complex needs
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A nurturing, adaptable, and resilient approach to teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
