Job description

Full-Time SEN Teacher – Bolton (BL3)
Start Date: ASAP | Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm | Pay: Competitive, based on experience

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bolton (BL3) is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join their specialist hub on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of six incredible students, each supported by a team of committed Teaching Assistants.

The SEN hub is a nurturing environment tailored to meet the needs of children with a range of special educational needs, many of whom have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The successful candidate will be a fully qualified teacher (unfortunately, ECTs cannot be considered for this role) with proven experience supporting children with complex needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health challenges.

Your role will include:

  • Planning and delivering differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of each pupil.
  • Working closely with TAs to ensure consistent support and effective classroom management.
  • Liaising with parents, carers, and external professionals to monitor progress and adapt strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to EHCP reviews and target setting.
  • Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
