Year 6 Class Teacher – Full-Time | Primary School in Swinton

Start Date: December 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

✏️ Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to Year 6 learners
  • Track pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and inspiring classroom culture
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices
  • Participate in CPD and contribute to wider school life

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident and flexible teaching approach with effective differentiation
  • Solid understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and current educational strategies
  • Competent in using technology to enhance learning
  • Skilled in behaviour management and classroom leadership

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 4 or across Key Stage 2 (ECTs with relevant placements are encouraged to apply)
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, inclusive education
