Year 6 Teacher – Full-Time Position in Rusholme (Starting January)

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Rusholme in their search for a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team from January. This is a full-time role, running from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, ideal for an educator passionate about inspiring young learners and making a meaningful impact.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to Year 6 pupils
  • Monitor and assess progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and best practices
  • Engage in ongoing professional development

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs
  • Solid understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Confidence in using technology to support learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
