Year 6 Teacher – Full-Time | Didsbury | May 2026 Start

The Opportunity

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a welcoming, forward-thinking primary school in Didsbury, who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join their team full-time from May 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons tailored to Year 6 learners
  • Assess and track pupil progress, offering constructive feedback to support development
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work effectively with colleagues to share best practice and support whole-school goals
  • Take part in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 6 or other upper KS2 year groups
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs
  • Confident understanding of the National Curriculum and current teaching approaches
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
  • Competence in using technology to enhance teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
