Year 6 Teacher – Full-Time | Didsbury | January 2026 Start

Teaching Personnel is excited to be working with a warm, inclusive primary school in Didsbury, currently seeking a passionate and committed Year 6 Teacher to join their team full-time from January 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 6 pupils
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and teaching strategies
  • Take part in ongoing professional development opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 6 or other Key Stage 2 year groups
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs
  • Solid understanding of the National Curriculum and modern teaching approaches
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Confidence in using technology to enhance learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
