Year 6 Teacher – Full-Time | Didsbury | September 2026 Start

The Opportunity

Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Didsbury, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons tailored to Year 6 pupils
  • Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing meaningful feedback to support development
  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to wider school improvement
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 6 or within Upper Key Stage 2
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to effectively differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Sound knowledge of the National Curriculum and current teaching practices
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
  • Confidence in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
