Year 6 Teacher – Full-Time | Didsbury | February 2026 Start

The Opportunity
Teaching Personnel is proud to partner with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Didsbury, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join their team full-time after February half term.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 6 pupils.
  • Track and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Year 6 or other KS2 year groups.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Solid understanding of the National Curriculum and modern teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Confidence in using technology to enhance learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
