Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time Role in Altrincham

Location: Altrincham
Start Date: January 2025
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a warm, inclusive, and forward-thinking primary school in Altrincham. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team from January 2025.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons tailored to Year 5 pupils
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning outcomes
  • Participate in CPD opportunities and contribute to the wider school community

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate effectively to support diverse learning needs
  • Solid understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and current educational practices
  • Confident in using technology to enrich learning experiences
  • Effective classroom management and leadership skills

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Year 5 or Key Stage 2 (ECTs with relevant placements are welcome to apply)
  • Commitment to delivering inclusive, high-quality education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
