Are you an experienced SEN teaching assistant who is looking to take on a new role within south east London?
A 2 form intake school in Catford are recruiting for a SEN TA/LSA to work supporting a child in the EYFS with Autism. The school would like a candidate with SEN experience. Experience with Autism would be preferable. Knowledge of TEACHH would also support your application.
this role will suit someone who is pro active with a real enthusiasm for supporting not only a key child but the classroom as a whole. The role would include working to increase attainment of the key child, through small group work and individual support.
This school is located close to Catford and Catford Bridge stations. The school were rated "outstanding" by Ofsted (Dec 16). The SLT at this school are dedicated to the continued high level of results that the school has achieved in recent years.
Requirements
- CACHE level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Experience working with children with SEND (SEMH preferable)
- A current valid child workforce DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
- Passion for supporting children succeed
- Confidence dealing with sensitive matters
- 2 recent references
